Preferably NE side of town (we live in New Albany) but any recommendations would be appreciated!

From the Dispatch:

For the first time, the region's planners are asking residents of 12 counties to participate in planning for transportation, land use, economic-development and environmental and energy issues.

The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission aims to finish its "Shaping our Future" plan by 2012. Included are the usual Franklin, Delaware, Licking, Fairfield, Pickaway, Madison, Union counties

And this time, it is adding Morrow, Marion, Knox, Ross and Fayette counties.

Short survey for Central Ohio residents.

Anyone Been to this thing yet? My wife has heard about it, and is wanting to go, but from looking at the website it seems to be kinda.. Thin on entertainments for Kids 6 & Under. I don't think my two will sit through any of the 4 singing shows, and I'm doubtfull that they'll be big enough for most/many of the rides..

Anyone have any experience w/ it already? Opinions? Advice?

Has anyone here bought a car or gotten service from Peninsula Honda, Hall Honda, Checkered Flag Honda, or Priority Honda?

I'm currently car shopping and I'm curious what experience others have had with these dealerships in particular.

Good or bad, I'd like to hear it. Especially if you have dealt with their service department.

We want to get a Frazer Fir tree. Lowe's has them for $35, but those ones are a bit large for our taste. Anyone know of a lot or other place where we could get a better deal? Thanks!

My friends and I are planning to drive around and look at Christmas lights tomorrow night. Can anyone suggest which neighborhoods would be the best for lots of awesome lights on people's houses?

I searched, but it seems most of the vet questions are a couple years old.

My dog passed away a couple months ago, and I think I am ready for a new dog. I am going to meet (and, I imagine, bring home) a rescue on Sunday.

The vet I used before was nice enough, but it was in Westerville. I'd be willing to go there again if need be, but it was fairly large. The downside was that we almost never saw the same vet twice. The upside, especially when he was getting into the advanced stages of his heart disease, was that they always had someone to answer the phones, and I could take him in at night in an emergency. Also, they were able to board--both regular and dogs who needed special attention.

I would be interested in going to a smaller vet, so we can build a relationship with a specific vet, instead of just seeing whoever was open. Are there any vets in or near Clintonville that you can recommend? Have you had any emergencies, and were they able to accommodate? Do they offer boarding?

Thanks for any suggestions, or even suggestions on where not to go. I have seen some vets while driving around, but it's hard to tell by just seeing a building.

(eta: any pet insurance recommendations would be welcome as well!)
